There won't be an SMG Networking Event this month. I'm concentrating all my efforts on some interesting regional initiatives.
And remember, the SMG covers Swindon and Wiltshire, so if you would like to host a networking event in your area, let me know and I'll help you set it up. We are currently negotiating with Fosse Events Services Ltd for them to host a session and show us their expansive filming facilities.

Skillset is currently undertaking the largest formal review of skills needs and working life in the UK's Creative Media Industries. Large-scale quantitative feedback direct from industry enables Skillset to then work with industry to target resource to real need and develop bespoke skills solutions, hence making sure the UK Creative Media Industries is a world leader. All employers, employees and freelancers working in the Creative Media Industries are eligible to participate and can get involved at www.skillset.org/playyourpart. Employers may be contacted by phone or email and any interested parties can email Skillset to ensure that they are contacted at research@skillset.org. When taking part in the research each employer will be asked to invite their workforce to participate too. Employees and freelancers are invited to participate by completing a 15 minute survey at: www.skillsetworkforcesurvey.com
