Pitching for Film and Television

You are invited to participate in public pitching event in front of a panel of industry experts with your ideas for film and television content – a Dragons Den for the Film and Television industry. The deadline for submission of ideas is 14April. The event will take place on 23 April 2008 at the Cass Business School, London.

The event is organised by TiE Creative Industries Special Interest Group (CISIG) together with Creative Asia Network as part of our mission to “bridge Asian creativity and business.

TiE is a global not for profit organisation of entrepreneurs and industry professionals who share a passion and energy for driving entrepreneurship, enterprise and wealth creation. TiE UK is the second largest TiE chapter globally with over 130 Charter
Members (well known high net worth entrepreneurs and business professionals) and over 900 regular members. Given TiE’s strong membership and interest within the creative industry sector both the entrepreneurial and investment communities are keen
to learn more about this growing and often lucrative sector.

Creative Asia Network (CAN) is a network of UK Asians working in media and creative industries connecting Asian creativity and business in the UK and bridging UK and India creative industries. Every segment of British society be it politics, fashion, arts, entertainment, business or enterprise today includes an Asian voice.Indeed there is widespread acknowledgment of the dynamism and innovation of the Indian community both nationally and globally.

The community is forging an identity which goes beyond its ethnic limitations into the mainstream influencing the way we in Britain “eat, dress, work and play”. This is further reflected in the national and international success of many Indian artists, writers, filmmakers, musicians, designers who are forging a place in the mainstream.TiE and Creative Asia Network have come together to host a series of events where creativity meets business. We look forward to your participation in the Pitching Film and Television Event.
