Since its inception seventeen years ago, Touch Productions has gained an international reputation for award-winning documentaries. We are passionate about trying to make outstanding, memorable films that make a real difference. We are not afraid to tackle contemporary "hot potatoes", to address difficult questions or to bring the experiences of the individual to the fore to illustrate a wider picture. We believe in the power of the individual to tell a story that moves the world.

We make observational series, big investigative films, history-based films with a strong contemporary relevance, science programmes, intimate human interest stories and innovative films that stretch the form.?

Touch provides an engaging and dynamic environment to attract and retain the best talent and which inspires new ideas and issues. We want to produce films that challenge the audience's preconceptions, that tell great stories and that are fun.?

Building on our past strengths, we are currently following an ambitious path of idea development in clearly defined genres: Observational documentaries, Science, History and Archaeology.

Touch has recently developed an 'open door' policy on ideas. Production companies and individuals are welcome to discuss and develop ideas together as part of a joint venture. All ideas are also considered on a cross platform basis.

As a company we are committed to developing a sustainable creative media business within the South West region as well as nurturing a regional talent base. Touch has been at the forefront, for example, of creating and developing the Wessex Media Group, as well as other ventures in the South West.

We are currently developing our links with US and international commissioners, to extend our reputation into wider markets.
