Alastair Swinnerton
Alastair Swinnerton has been a professional screenwriter for nearly twenty years, with credits ranging from ‘The Wombles’ to Disney Channel’s Emmy-nominated ‘Amazing Animals’. He co-created Lego’s multi-billion selling property ‘Bionicle’, as well as co-creating and writing the hit series ‘The Baskervilles’, co-produced by Alphanim (France), CITV (UK) and Cinar (Canada). It has since sold around the world, and is currently airing twice a day on the new French kids’ channel Gulli. He also wrote, co-produced and co-directed the BAFTA-nominated Christmas special ‘The Tale of Jack Frost’ with Zoo Films, and continues to write and develop shows for companies around the world, including the forthcoming Brown Bag Films/HiT Entertaniment preschool series Wobblyland.
