Event Description
Opportunities for teams of two from all over Europe to animate a given character and make a short film in 48 hours. In 2008 the Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film will again be holding a 48H 3D jam in cooperation with m.a.r.k. 13 and Why Not Animation. This year the festival's mascot - a multi-coloured-psychedelic horse - will be animated, hence the festival's name.
The competition will start on Friday, May 2 at 12 pm and on Sunday, May 4 at 12pm.
Animated film students from film schools and free-lance animators and animation producers under 30 years of age are eligible to participate in teams of two. The Stuttgart Festival of Animated Film will pay overnight costs for a maximum of four days and all participants will be entitled to free accreditation for the Festival. The winners will receive valuable material prizes (software/hardware).
The submission deadline is March 1, 2008. More information can be found at www.itfs.de
